This online course offers an insight into the fashion industry and explores how fashion is influenced by culture and communicated through the image – a perfect introduction for those fascinated and inspired by fashion and image.

Through this course in Fashion & Image, you will explore how fashion, image and culture have shaped the industry over the decades.

You will learn how to recognise who the key influencers are in these fields, and how fashion is communicated and marketed through image.

 

Course Content

  • Knowledge of the history of fashion and image

  • Social, cultural and technological drivers of change in fashion and image, and how marketing in these industries works

  • Ethical dimensions of fashion and image.

You will work on a range of activities every week, combining individual projects and group work; this allows opportunities to work independently as well as collaboratively alongside other students undertaking the course.

All of the sessions will be recorded so you can follow the course at your own pace.

Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a Condé Nast Certificate of Achievement.

 

This course also acts as a stepping-stone on to other Condé Nast College courses at higher levels for those wishing to progress their studies.
